The Linen District

The remodeled Linen Building

Maggie in the Adirondack chair she wanted at Second Chance, a building supply consignment store.

We're not really sure why Maggie kept wanting to chew on my knee at Big City Coffee House.

As I mentioned in yesterday's blog post, we spent yesterday afternoon doing some urban hiking in the Linen District to shop and get some coffee. The Linen District is very close to our house, and has a great coffee shop, and some great stores. It was a lot of fun and Maggie had a great time. She loves people watching--she was enthralled by all the people in the coffee house, and watched one woman drink her coffee and eat her lunch most of the time. This was Maggie's first "sit down" somewhere for food/drink. We were very pleased how well she did. Restaurants, here we come! Except Daddy's going to be the only one eating of course, I still have to carry rice milk with me just to get a latte!
