Happenings

Over the last few weeks our little family has been quite busy---school, work, lots of fallen leaves to rake (easily topping the number of bags we'd have to rake living in the Northend), trips to Lewiston for car repairs, visits from family, celebrations with friends, and of course lots of busy play at home.
So, since we've been such busy bees, here's one of those "catch-up" posts that will offer a little glimpse of what Miss Magnolia's been up to...

Daddy Day at Preschool
The dramatic play area is now set up as a post office. The children are writing letters to family and preparing for a trip to the post office to mail their letters.
First Preschool Field Trip to the Post Office!
Daddy joined Maggie for the trip---since the post office is right next to his bookstore, Maggie insisted he participate, or else she said she'd just have to go in the store and get him:)

So happy when her letter came in the mail!

Maggie and Daddy ventured to Lewiston to have the 4-wheel drive fixed on the Pathfinder.
Just in time since our first winter storm brought some good snow cover today!

Zac and Maggie toured much of Lewiston on foot as they waited for about six hours for the car to be checked over and fixed. Apparently they swung in to Starbucks for a little cup of something warm---I know, I know, my feelings about Starbucks have not worn off on them, yet.

Maggie's friend Mark turned 2 years old this past week and his older brother, Mick, thought a birthday parade was in order. Lots of neighbours and friends came out for some birthday parade fun!
