Winter Already?

All bundled up!

Well, we already had our first snow on Friday. Maggie didn't know quite what to think--it was fun to look at though. It's been a very relaxing weekend. We've hung out inside, had lots of fires going in the fireplace, watched some Vandal football (and it was actually a pretty good game this time), and just snuggled. Maggie and I are home today for Columbus day. Yep, it's one of the few state employee perks. We've got a new "tummy time spot" in her room, and have been working on it all day. Ever since her vision started to come in more, she's gotten a little more mad when doing tummy time, since it cuts out her visual field. We'll keep it up though.

So this coming weekend will be Maggie's first official night away from mommy and daddy. Zac and I decided that our fifth anniversary deserved a night out, and we thought we'd celebrate with dinner, a hockey game, and staying in the room at the Anniversary Inn where we stayed our wedding night. Our plans of a vacation to Orcas Island where we went on our honeymoon isn't really going to pan out since we became parents and all. Aunt Sara and Uncle Brad are going to come over to our house and have a sleepover with Maggie. It should be pretty fun!
